Swype Swype is a unique merchant-funded rewards program. Swype works by linking merchant discount offers to a debit or credit card from a participating merchant or restaurant. Swype offers immediate discounts at specific merchants, giving the account holder a well rounded rewards and incentive experience. Account holders may be notified via their rewards web dashboard, and by email and/or text message of available discount offers. When a Swype offer is redeemed, the account holder receives a text or email notification that the discount occurred. The Swype transaction credit can be viewed online on the account holder’s account statement.
